WELCOME TO THE PAINTING CLASS SITE!
I am brenda stankus and I have been teaching painting to adults for over 30 years. I have taught for many years at Richmond’s Cultural Arts Centre at Pine Camp, as well as at Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center, Henrico County ,VA. Painting is my passion.
IN 2012 I OPENED MY OWN STUDIO CLASSROOM SPACE in the Bellevue Area of Richmond, VA. We have storefront windows facing NORTH and loads of classroom and workspace. We feel fortunate to be located in the middle of one of the popular & very desirable areas of our city. My students were and have continued to be very supportive, in fact they even suggested the move! I painted the mural of the community, coming and going as they do, on our outside wall. When I have large works to finish I paint here at the studio, students come here to paint, and we are all happy as we grow and learn.
